On this page, the CT Urban Forest Council is pleased to share the results of its various Grant Programs, including through our Community Forestry Small Grants Program and the Urban Forestry Climate Change Grants Program. We thank all of the grant participants for all of the hard work they put into making these projects a success.
We also thank the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, through the Division of Forestry and to the US Forest Service, through the State and Private Forestry program, for their many contributions, including providing the financial support for these grants.
In addition to the Grant Results, we are also sharing a series of slide presentations from our 2022 Annual Forest Forum.
During the 2022 Annual Forest Forum, 5 presentations were given as “Flash Talks” – short presentations to highlight the results of specific projects. These projects including 2 that were representative of the Community Forestry Small Grants Program, 1 of the Urban Forestry Climate Change Grants Program, 1 that recounted lessons from the 1990’s relevant to today’s grants and 1 based on research taking place at the University of Connecticut.
