The panel, on “Implementing Success in Urban Forestry“, will be moderated by Heather Dionne of Sav-A-Tree.
The conference will conclude with a presentation on a successful urban forestry program. Martin Begnal of the Friends of Riverside Cemetery in Waterbury will present on the Cemetery’s efforts as it has been “Learning to Love its Trees“. As the Friends of Riverside have sought to revitalize this 36 acre historical site right in the middle of Waterbury, they have come to appreciate the importance of trees as integral to all that the cemetery is.
In addition to the presenters, exhibitors have also been invited to participate in the Conference. Time has been allocated with the program to allow attendees to visit with the exhibitors.
