Connecticut Urban Forest Council Outstanding Project Awards
In 2006, the Connecticut Urban Forest Council began a new program of recognizing those urban forestry projects that have occurred throughout the state that are exceptional. These are projects that demonstrate the potential of what can be done in urban forestry in Connecticut. There is no limit as to the number of projects that may be recognized in any one year, and projects do not need to have been completed within the past year. Indeed, many projects are ongoing and others may not reveal their importance until a period of time has passed. All, though, are worthy of note for others in the state.
